Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated or adapted to reflect changes in the legislation in force or on the website itself. Please read it carefully each time you provide your personal data.
Visiting this website does not mean that the user is obliged to provide any information about themselves. However, during the visit, personal data may be requested through forms.
The data we request on this website are adequate, relevant and strictly necessary in order to provide you with the services offered, and you are in no case obliged to provide them, although you should be aware that failure to provide them may affect or make it impossible to provide the service.
Consent is given specifically and unambiguously by ticking the acceptance box next to the form before providing us with your personal data. Merely reading or accepting this Privacy Policy does not in itself constitute such consent.
In accordance with Organic Law 03/2018, of 5 December, on Data Protection (LOPD) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and based on the principles of transparency, fairness and lawfulness, we detail below the processing we will carry out of your personal data:
1. DATA CONTROLLER
Your personal data will form part of the Web Users file, whose recipient and controller of the file and its processing is:
- Laura Fernández-Llamazares
- Commercial name: Jolgorio Studio (Jolgorio Studio S.L., in the process of incorporation)
- Email: hola@jolgoriostudio.com
2. LEGAL BASIS
The legal basis for processing your data is the consent you give us by ticking the specific box on the form (article 6.1.a of the GDPR). You may withdraw this consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to its withdrawal. The data we request (name and email address) are those strictly necessary for the stated purpose; if you do not provide them, we will not be able to send you our communications.
3. PURPOSE AND RETENTION OF THE DATA
The personal data you provide will be processed for the purpose of managing your subscription and sending you, by electronic means, news, information about the collection and commercial communications from Jolgorio Studio. Should your data change in any way, please notify us at the contact address shown above so that we can keep it up to date.
We will keep your data for as long as you do not withdraw your consent or request its deletion. We periodically review inactive contacts and delete those with no interaction over a prolonged period. Following the withdrawal of consent or a deletion request, your data will be blocked, available solely to public authorities, judges and courts, for the limitation period of any potential legal liabilities (article 32 of the LOPDGDD), after which it will be deleted.
You may withdraw your consent for any specific purpose you previously accepted, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on that consent.
4. DISCLOSURE OF DATA
We do not disclose your data to third parties, except where legally required. To provide the service we rely on providers that act as data processors on our behalf, with whom we have signed the corresponding contract in accordance with article 28 of the GDPR: Supabase (database hosting) and Vercel (website hosting). In the future we will also use Brevo (sending marketing communications) and Resend (sending transactional emails). Both the database hosting (Supabase) and the website hosting (Vercel) are located in the European Union (Ireland region), so your data is processed within the European Economic Area. Some of these providers belong to groups with headquarters in the USA; should any access or transfer outside the European Economic Area occasionally occur, such transfer would be covered by the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or other appropriate safeguards provided for in articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR.
5. USER'S RIGHTS OVER THEIR PERSONAL DATA
We inform you of the rights available to you when you provide us with your data:
- Right of access to the data
- Right of rectification
- Right of erasure
- Right to object
- Right to data portability
- Right to restriction of processing
You may exercise any of these rights, as well as withdraw your consent at any time, by emailing hola@jolgoriostudio.com stating the right you wish to exercise. We may ask you to prove your identity by proportionate means only if there are reasonable doubts about it.
You can find more information about your rights and the forms to exercise them on the website of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), www.aepd.es. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with that Agency if you consider that the processing does not comply with the regulations in force.
6. SOCIAL MEDIA
Visiting Jolgorio Studio's public profiles on social media does not involve the collection of personal data, unless expressly authorised.
7. PROTECTION AND CONFIDENTIALITY OF YOUR DATA
We use organisational and technical measures to guarantee the security and confidentiality of your personal data, preventing its loss, alteration and unauthorised processing. Our staff have been trained and have adopted a commitment to confidentiality in their processing.
8. SENDING OF COMMUNICATIONS
The data provided to receive communications are processed by Jolgorio Studio for the purpose of sending you, by electronic means, news and information about the collection, products and activities of Jolgorio Studio.
The legal basis for the aforementioned processing is the express consent given by the User. Consent to send such communications may be withdrawn at any time in each of the communications received, through the mechanism provided for that purpose.
The criterion for retaining the data is based on your expressed objection to the processing. In any event, the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability may be exercised, where applicable, by emailing hola@jolgoriostudio.com
If you do not obtain satisfaction in the exercise of your rights, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) through its electronic office, by submitting a request for the protection of rights.
